Crazy Bike
Maybe I was out of the loop on this, but my coworker at the bike shop just showed me this video and it absolutely amazed and bewildered me as to how and why anyone learns to do this.

I [heart] Gentle Souls and Lisa Nading
Mom, dad and anyone else I owe money to and/or constantly complain about being broke, just turn away now, stop reading.
I bought my most expensive pair of shoes ever yesterday. I think my ten-hole doc martens were probably close, and that was when I was probably 14 years old. At least those had enough leather to make them feel substantial and worth $120. This super fabulous shoe store, Pedz, in Seattle is changing ownership. In the meantime they are having a huge clearance sale. I tried my best to avoid going, but found myself standing across the street yesterday. Ooops, how did that happen? Anyway, before I knew it my feet were comfortably and sexily resting in a pair of Lisa Nading heels. Regular price $198. Oh my goodness. Was I really just about to purchase two hundred dollar shoes??!! I've always heard that the reason most people can't wear heels is because they buy cheap ones and that if you fork out the big bucks, the shoes are actually comfortable (as possible) and fit well and last a long time. From the minute, no the second, that I slipped my feet into those Delia shoes I knew those people were right. Luckily I got them at the amazing discount of 40% off, so they were only $120.
I will never be able to buy and wear cheap heels again. Uh-oh. What have I done? And in two weeks I have to go back, the sale goes down to 70% off, hopefully they won't have anything left in my size.
p.s. Mine are black with white piping, not brown.

PARK(ing)
This was really interesting to all the landscape architects and engineers that I work with. It's a fun idea and an informative look at an overcrowded city. Be sure and check out all the pictures on the right where they show people actually utilizing the space.
